SpaceNet announces partnership with Nextcloud and integration with Zamadama
Nextcloud Hub is the leading open source software for storing data. With this step, the managed service provider is deepening its long-standing collaboration with the software provider, which fulfils SpaceNet's high data protection requirements.
Cloud storage ensures that data is always easily accessible to certain groups of people and can be easily shared and sent between them. With many cloud providers, storage space is limited or they send the data to servers in the USA, which can cause problems with data protection. Nextcloud was developed to store data encrypted in a cloud or on your own servers and thus retain data sovereignty at all times.
"We have been offering managed Nextcloud systems on our secure servers in Munich for some time now. The positive experiences our customers have had with Nextcloud and the security aspect of encryption have convinced us that a closer partnership makes a lot of sense," says Sebastian von Bomhard, CEO of SpaceNet AG.
SpaceNet customers will receive Nextcloud both as a highly standardised cloud solution for immediate use and as a customised installation for individual requirements. Nextcloud Hub will also be integrated into Zamadama, SpaceNet's self-service platform for collaboration tools.
