BSI awards IT security label for Zamadama e-mail services to SpaceNet

Munich, 31 January 2023: SpaceNet AG has been awarded three IT security labels by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for its email products Zamadama Mail, Zamadama Mail Plus and Zamadama Professional. This makes SpaceNet AG one of the companies that make their promise regarding the security of their IT products transparent to consumers.

Today, security is perhaps the most important requirement that products must fulfil when it comes to versatile and productive online collaboration. Every day, countless e-mails are sent, video conferences are held and people work together on documents. To support effective online collaboration, SpaceNet AG launched the new product "Zamadama" on the market. The email services, which have now been awarded the BSI consumer label, are part of this scalable all-in-one tool, which specialises in modern and mobile communication.

"Security and transparency play an important role for us and for our customers. That's why Zamadama pays particular attention to the issue of data security. The data of Zamadama users is safely stored with us in Bavaria in one of the most modern data centres in Europe with the highest security and availability standards. We are very proud of the BSI's IT security label for our e-mail products," reports Maja von Bomhard, Zamadama project manager at SpaceNet AG.

With the IT security label, SpaceNet assures that Zamadama e-mail products meet the requirements of BSI TR-03108 "Secure e-mail transport" and undertakes to report vulnerabilities and security gaps to the BSI and rectify them. The security labels are valid for two years.

All information on the Zamadama products can be found at www.zamadama.de. The IT security labels of the respective e-mail service are integrated on the website. Consumers can access the BSI's individual product information page via a link or the QR code. This contains dynamic security information, the manufacturer's declaration and detailed information on the requirements of the underlying standard. The three new SpaceNet AG labels are published on the BSI website in the label search. There is also an overview of all IT security labels issued.
